USA Orientation Program
An orientation program designed to help international transferees
understand the cultural differences they may encounter during their stay
in the Untied States. Participants will learn about the U.S. culture,
and acquire basic information about the U.S. government, and legal
system, as well as current social, political, economic issues, core
American values, and their impact on American behaviors. Differences
between cultures are explored, and ways of coping with these differences
in the work place and the community are presented. The program also
includes a discussion of characteristics of a successful expatriate,
cultural shock management, and daily living issues.

Cultural Awareness Workshop
A one-day interactive workshop designed to reduce barriers to effective
cross-cultural communication. The workshop introduces a model for
understanding motivational factors, professional and social
relationships, business protocol and practices, as well as the personal
lifestyles of individuals from various cultures.
